Prayers: teachers preparing lesson plans for classes, classes starting first week of February, Deb planning furlough, kids day…

Prison Christmas programs this week, end of term 2 classes Saturday, term 3 classes starting soon, Christmas break. I would encourage you to give a watch/ listen to the video and hear the wonderful African drums and worship….

This last week we had the monthly care team meeting. Which is always such a great time for me getting to not just hear people but see them, interact with them, from my home where I came from. Thank you guys for everyone who attends and for all of you who watch later. That you guys are actively involved, what a blessing that is for me and the ministry. Because and not everybody’s meant to go, right?!
I was a little sick over the weekend but I’m doing better now. I’m thankful for that and thank you guys for praying for those of you who were praying for me, answered prayer.
Ww are coming up to the end of our second term this year. This ends this week! We’ll have a quick teachers meeting and then we are going to take a break until sometime in late January or early February. At the time we will start up with our term three classes for people in and around the Jinja area. You can be checking our web page for updates on our webpage CalledChristians.org/education.
We also have started preparing for a class we’re offering next term. which I’m so excited about. Iit’s called, The Truth Project. This came out some few years ago talking about how to have a Christian world view. We’re super excited about this, it’s going to be 13 or 14 weeks long, on a Saturday afternoon. You are welcome to come, it’s free of charge. We’ll discuss different areas, things like Work, Anthropology, History, Science, Evolution, what is truth? Love this program and I’m excited that we’re going to have this in term 3.
This week we also went out for evangelism and people got saved🎉 Always exciting expanding the kingdom. You know our mission is to make disciples that make disciples and that starts with salvation. Someone coming to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Then that sanctification process starts where you begin studying, growing, attending things like classes and getting involved in cell groups and serving at church. We get excited when people join the family, so celebrate with us.
We have one-on-one discipleship still going on. We’re having a little Christmas gathering soon and then we’ll hold the monthly meeting. This is a time of encouragement for scrolls where we talk about what God is doing and through us. We hear a devotion, we spend some time in prayer together. If you could keep that covered in prayer please as there are a lot of people doing one-on-one discipleship right now. This is just wonderful, again fulfilling our mission and vision that God gave us making disciples that make disciples. And that happens one soul at a time. Thank you guys for praying, I’ll talk to you next week.
Quick reminder we have a fundraiser going on right now, lots of great Christmas gifts, beautiful designs, lots under $30, some useful things, some things just for fun 😍
